It is as if the wood panelling would have been more appropriate inside the house rather than outside, it gives you a felling that something is amiss yet it is overall a very good house , I just love the shape of the roof.  Link

Concrete House

It is hard to love concrete as a design material just because so many of the worst buildings in the 1950s and 60s were made of that substance.  The Good thing is that this housr is very light filled just because it has windows above, maybe concrete does not have to be ugly- it is a triumph of modern architechture building. via

Three Stoey Sound Proof Buliding, Sheffield England

This is a soundproof music room with a rubber covering, well I guess it is there to do a job but I think it is a novelty house, more could have been made to make it exciting , It was designed by Carey Jones .

Whistler Cay Residence, British Columbia, Canada

I think this is a stunning design which fits in well with it surroundings and almosts evades attention but it is still eye catching.   I got it via the Contemporist.

Eco Rotatating Dome House

I often think that we are frawing in the enviromental propaganda pool, but if the eco -friendly crowd wants to produce more houses like these, I will be fore them this is a stunning design and it rotates to maximise the exposure of sun panels to daylight. I have seen a number of innovative dome houses but this is one of the best. Twin-Brick House Japan

This house with two wings is nothing short of spectacular, it really should not be able to work but is is a play on contrasts, I love the use of light  and shades, you have to say that the japanese have ot been wasting time and they have bheen adventurous.  Via Busyboo

From Japan with love , This is a disturning design just because it leaves you wondering where the interior is and where the exterior is celebrate Japan! It works well with the minamalist interior deisgn and I do not think it can work in clutter.
