Usually I find it’s the men who are quicker to adapt to new situations and get things done, while it’s the women just sitting around whining and generally being more of a hindrance than a help. Especially in the work place, but also in relationships.

Sorry, but every point you attempt to make in this little tirade is off-base, with the exception that every city has bag ladies–that’s true. You think global warming isn’t real? Find me five reputable sources. Here are a couple places to start where you can find such sources:
-peer reviewed journals
-academic databases (LexisNexis, etc)

The only fact you prove in this post is that people like yourself still exist–those unwilling to change even minor details of their lifestyle, like which bags to use at the store, for a much greater good. I think charging .10 for plastic bags is a fantastic idea.
